Squarespace Maintenance
A new service need has come up, which is why I’m in your inbox 😀
I've noticed a website maintenance breakdown after Squarespace site launches. Many site owners need help with things like expired domains, hosting billing issues, small updates, or Squarespace changes after site launch. It made me realize there’s a gap when it comes to ongoing website support for Squarespace clients.
Many of you made the switch to Squarespace for its ease of use, and that still holds true. But ease of use doesn’t completely eliminate the need for all maintenance. Most of you don’t just need a website, you need someone keeping an eye on it as well.
I’m happy to let you know - optional Website Management Subscription for Squarespace clients is now a service option. This is designed to take the pressure off you and make sure nothing important slips through the cracks.
The goal is simple: prevent issues, address small ones as they arise, and reduce the need for unplanned design work. We can offer a custom package for those who may need more help, the basic package though is:
• Up to 1 hour per month of edits as needed
• Monthly site health checks (a general click-thru of the site for function including testing contact forms and contact options)
• Renewals + domain tracking
• Ongoing platform updates/adjustments
Websites are easy to “set and forget” - until something breaks, expires, or stops working the way it should. Having someone familiar with your site checking in regularly helps prevent small issues from turning into bigger and more expensive problems.
Offering affordable solutions has been at the heart of SociallyUP since 2016.
Investment: $50/month for month-to-month support. Some clients will prefer to pay the year in full, and that can be set up as well. This service is intentionally priced to better support local businesses. If you’d like to be part of this, or have questions, please contact me.
If you are handling your site on your own - I am proud of you! Keep on!
As always, I truly appreciate being part of your business.
